about the studio

Hues & Scapes is a full service interior design firm. From a simple room refresh to a full-scale residential renovation, to developing a concept for a brand new small business, our goal is to work with you to visualize and implement your project. We strive to define your unique connection with your built environment, and shape your spaces into meaningful places.
 
Life happens in many different places. Our life experiences are shaped by the places we inhabit, places we work in, places we visit, and places we make memories in. Of all the places, our home is the most intimate to us. Home is the physical environment that touches our lives in ways like none other. Our home also reflects who we are. Who we are as humans in relation with other humans, as parents nurturing the family, as kids who play and run and knock things off, as siblings who roll on the floor playfully punching each other, as grandparents having grand kids over for a sleepover, as friends entertaining a party, as professionals working in home offices, and so much more….
 
Outside the home we gravitate to places that give us unique experiences, whether it’s a night out with friends, or a day at the spa, or the work environment that we spend the majority of our day in. If these experiences are positive, inspiring, and reflective of a certain culture, both our mood and productivity are enhanced and we develop a sense of belonging.
